Reformer Pilates Friends Group Booking in Utah
Bring your people. Book the whole room. Reformer Pilates friends group booking in Utah is exactly what it sounds like — you reserve the studio for your group, and I teach a private class built around who’s actually in the room. Birthdays, bachelorettes, work teams, sisters, running clubs, ward groups. One reformer each, one instructor, zero strangers.
I’ve taught a lot of these now. And I’ll tell you the honest thing first: group classes with friends are usually louder and funnier than my regular schedule. That’s fine. Some of the best work happens when people forget to be self-conscious.
What a Reformer Pilates Friends Group Booking in Utah Includes
A friends group booking is a private, instructor-led reformer Pilates class for your own small group at my Utah studio. You choose the date and time, I design the class for your group’s experience level, and everyone gets their own reformer with hands-on cueing. Sessions run 50 minutes. No membership required, and total beginners are genuinely welcome.
- Private studio access — just your group, no drop-ins
- One reformer per person
- A 50-minute class scaled to mixed experience levels
- Full equipment orientation for first-timers before we start
- Time before and after for photos, snacks, or just standing around talking
You can see my regular schedule and formats on the classes page, but a group booking sits outside that — it’s built for your date, not mine.
Who Books Group Reformer Pilates Classes in Utah
The Wasatch Front has a particular kind of energy around this. People here plan things. They organize.
I’ve hosted bachelorette groups driving down from Park City, a team of realtors from Draper who wanted something other than another lunch meeting, a mother-daughter pair from Sandy celebrating a 60th birthday, and a group of six friends from Lehi who now book a session every quarter and call it their “reset.”
Clients come to me from Salt Lake City, Cottonwood Heights, Sandy, Draper, and across Utah County. The drive is real for some of them. The private booking makes it worth the trip.
| Group Type | What I Usually Program |
|---|---|
| Bachelorette / birthday | Lighter spring loads, more flow, lots of laughing, ends with stretch |
| Corporate or team | Beginner-safe fundamentals, posture and core focus, no one left behind |
| Athletic friend group | Heavier springs, unilateral work, hip and shoulder stability |
| Mixed-generation family | Modified footwork, joint-friendly sequencing, two options for everything |
Why Reformer Pilates Works So Well for a Group Booking
The reformer is a spring-loaded carriage, and springs are adjustable. That’s the whole magic. Joseph Pilates developed this apparatus in the 1920s, originally rigging bed springs for injured patients — the equipment was designed from the start to meet bodies where they are.
So in one room I can have a marathoner on heavy springs and her friend who hasn’t exercised in four years on light springs, doing the same exercise, both working appropriately hard. Nobody is embarrassed. Nobody is bored.
I’m a comprehensively certified reformer instructor and I’ve been teaching along the Wasatch Front for years. In my studio, the thing I watch for during group bookings is the person hanging back — the one who came because her friends made her. Ten minutes in, she’s usually the one asking questions. That shift is my favorite part of this job. You can read more about my training and approach on my about page.
How to Arrange Your Friends Group Booking
- Pick two or three possible dates. Weekend mornings and weekday evenings go fastest.
- Tell me your group size and experience level. Honest answers help — “mostly beginners, one who does CrossFit” is perfect.
- Submit a request through the booking page and I’ll confirm within a day.
- Send your friends the details. Grippy socks, water, comfortable clothes. That’s it.
One honest note: if your group is larger than six, I can’t fit everyone on a reformer at once. I’ll usually suggest two back-to-back sessions instead of squeezing. And if what you actually want is a big high-energy party workout, a large mat studio might serve you better than my space. I’d rather tell you that than oversell you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can join a group reformer Pilates booking?
One person per reformer, so ask me for the current maximum when you enquire. Minimum is two. If your group is larger, I’ll schedule two consecutive sessions so everyone still gets their own machine and real attention.
Do we need Pilates experience to book a group class?
No. Most of my group bookings include at least a few complete beginners. I run a full equipment orientation before we start and give two options for nearly every exercise.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable. Weekend mornings during wedding season and December fill earliest, so bachelorette and holiday groups should reach out sooner.
Can we bring food, drinks, or decorations?
Yes, before or after class — not during. Groups celebrating birthdays often bring flowers or treats for afterward. Just let me know so I can build in extra studio time.
Where is the studio and who typically travels there?
I’m along the Wasatch Front and regularly host groups from Salt Lake City, Cottonwood Heights, Sandy, Draper, Lehi, Utah County, and Park City. Exact address and parking details go out with your confirmation.
