Privacy Policy
Effective August 31, 2026 · Last updated August 31, 2026This policy explains what information Alchemize Pilates collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version: We collect your name and email only when you choose to give them to us. We use them to reply to you about classes. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing. Our calculators run entirely in your browser and send us nothing. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
On this page
1. Who we are
Alchemize Pilates is a boutique reformer Pilates studio based in Utah, United States, founded and led by Bianca. This policy applies to alchemizepilatesbybianca.com and any pages on it.
Throughout this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Alchemize Pilates. “You” means anyone visiting the site.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit a form on this site — for example, the enquiry form asking us to get in touch about classes — we collect what you type into it. Today that is:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Any message or additional detail you choose to include
You do not have to give us any of this. It is entirely your choice, and you can browse the whole site, including every calculator, without submitting anything.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information when a page is requested. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, the page you visited, and the date and time. We also store the IP address attached to a form submission, which helps us identify and block automated spam.
We do not run advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics profiling on this site.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for or store payment card details, government identification, or health records through this website. If you discuss an injury, pregnancy or medical condition with us so we can teach you safely, that conversation happens directly with your instructor — not through a form on this site.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- Reply to your enquiry and answer questions about classes, schedules and pricing
- Send you the information you specifically asked us for
- Keep a record of who has contacted us so we do not lose track of you
- Protect the site from spam and abuse
- Understand, in general terms, which pages are useful so we can write better ones
We do not use your information to build an advertising profile, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask to join.
4. How we share information — and what we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers, advertising networks, or any other business for their own marketing purposes. We never have and we do not intend to.
There are only four situations in which your information reaches anyone outside Alchemize Pilates:
- Service providers who keep the site running. Our web host stores the site and its database, which necessarily includes form submissions. Our email provider delivers the notification message when you submit a form. These providers process the information only to provide their service to us.
- Third-party features embedded in our pages. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, and some pages display an Instagram feed. When your browser loads those elements, it contacts Google or Instagram directly, and those companies may receive your IP address and basic request information under their own privacy policies. We do not control and cannot see what they do with it.
- When you ask us to. For example, if you ask us to refer you to a physical therapist or another practitioner.
- When the law requires it. If we receive a valid legal request, or if sharing is genuinely necessary to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.
If Alchemize Pilates were ever sold or merged, information could transfer as part of that business. If that happened, we would say so on this page before it took effect.
5. Our calculators and tools
The free calculators on this site — the classes-per-week calculator, the calorie calculator and the cost-per-class calculator — run entirely inside your own browser.
Your body weight, budget, goals and every other number you type stay on your device. Nothing is transmitted to us, stored on our server, or saved anywhere after you close the page. We cannot see your results, and neither can anyone else.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site uses:
- Necessary cookies — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional cookies — remember preferences so the site behaves consistently.
- Analytics cookies — where enabled, these help us understand general usage patterns. They are only set if you consent.
You will see a consent banner on your first visit where you can accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings control on the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then behave oddly.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry submissions for as long as we have a reason to — typically while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back. Technical server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then rotated out. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we are required to keep something by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your information from our records
- Stop contacting you entirely
Just ask through our contact page and we will handle it. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live — including under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and comparable laws in other states and countries — you may have additional formal rights, such as the right to confirm whether we process your data, to obtain a copy of it, or to opt out of its sale. Since we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but the rest of those rights are honoured on request regardless of where you live.
9. Security
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to submitted enquiries is limited to people who need it to run the studio. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not collect sensitive information here in the first place, which is the most reliable protection there is.
10. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it. Minors are welcome in the studio in appropriate circumstances, but arrangements are made through a parent or guardian, not through this website.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
12. Contact us
Questions about this policy, or want your information corrected or deleted? Reach us through the Alchemize Pilates contact page and we will respond, typically within a couple of business days.
